Welcome to Sport BSO at Heemradenlaan 5 in IJsselstein, part of Kind&Co Ludens. Our location is the place to be for children aged 4 to 13 who love to move and play sports. Situated right in the neighbourhood, we have one clear mission: give children the space to have fun while discovering their talents. Every afternoon we start together at the table with a snack and drink. After that, children decide for themselves what they want to do. One moment a child joins an organised activity such as football, rugby, archery or boxing. The next moment another child chooses to do crafts, play a game, make music or simply sit down with a Donald Duck magazine in the home corner. We offer plenty of variety and always look at the child’s age and interests. We encourage participation, but never force it. Fun comes first. Our pedagogical approach is straightforward. We work from ‘Our Pedagogical Heart’ with four pillars: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, providing a rich environment, and being together. We give children confidence and room to experiment. In this way they learn to stand up for themselves and to persevere, even when something feels scary or difficult. During team games they discover the importance of cooperation and trust in one another. We respect differences and set a good example by working together, listening and helping each other. The location itself is colourfully decorated and has a clear signature: movement and sport are central. We have a large garden or playground where children can run freely, play football or complete an obstacle course. Inside there is a craft corner, a home corner with reading materials and plenty of space for quiet moments. We warmly invite parents and children to come and take a look. Only then will you truly experience the atmosphere and we can tell you personally what we do every day.
