Sport BSO Doorn

Sport BSO Doorn is the sports-oriented after-school care facility for children from 4 years old in Doorn and surrounding areas. We are located on the grounds of football club DEV Doorn at Buurtweg 3b, where we make daily use of the spacious artificial grass and natural grass fields. Our sports-oriented pedagogical staff offer a varied program of sports and games every day, specifically tailored to different age groups. Movement is central to our approach. We believe that sports and games are not only fun but also contribute to children's development. That's why we provide unique sports equipment and constantly new challenges. In addition to well-known sports, we also offer musical activities and nature experience activities. Children actively contribute to the activity program, ensuring that activities always match their wishes and interests. Our approach is documented in our pedagogical work plan Sport BSO Doorn, which is part of our broader pedagogical policy. This work plan describes how we translate our vision and core values into daily practice. We work with peers in horizontal groups, taking into account both younger and older children. We are also open during school holidays with a special holiday program. We then offer a varied program of play & sports, creative activities, expression and nature experiences. Children choose which activities they want to participate in, while always leaving room for their own initiatives and free play. We also regularly organize excursions to fun locations in the area. Sport BSO Doorn works together with primary schools in Doorn and surrounding areas to pick up children after school. We are a recognized childcare facility with LRK number 212302905 and are inspected annually by the GGD. Our parent committee actively contributes to the quality of our care.
