Sport BSO Boefje - Groen-Geel

Sport BSO Boefje – Groen-Geel is located on the grounds of korfball club Groen-Geel at De Drie Morgen 2 in Wormer. Since 1 June 2024 we offer after-school care on weekdays between 12:30 and 18:30 for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our regular pedagogical staff collect the children with our electric minibuses from various primary schools in the municipality of Wormerland, including De Wormerwieken. Sport and physical activity are at the heart of our programme. After school, children can head straight onto the pitch for korfball, football, hockey or other sports. There is also plenty of room for crafts, cooking, singing or simply chatting. During school holidays we organise extra trips and workshops: think of a visit to the climbing dunes, Fairy-tale Wonderland or a creative cooking class. Each holiday programme is built around its own theme so that all activities fit together seamlessly. We provide a hot meal so that children who want to move straight on to the korfball club’s training session have already eaten well. Families who use our swimming arrangement can have their children taken to De Crommenije swimming pool in Krommenie on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The swimming lessons are given by qualified instructors from the Zaanstad Swimming Pools Foundation; our staff accompany the children and remain present for the entire lesson. In short: at Sport BSO Boefje – Groen-Geel we combine the fun of sport and play with quiet moments and creative challenges, always in a familiar environment with familiar faces.
