Sport Abcoude

BSO Sport Abcoude is located on the first floor of FC Abcoude’s clubhouse, right in the middle of Sportpark De Hollandsche Kade at Ruwelspad in Abcoude. We run two same-age groups for children aged 7 to 12 who attend OBS Piet Mondriaan, De Pius, RKBS De Paullusschool and CNS Abcoude. Our setting blends after-school care with an extensive sports programme. Every day our four permanent sports coaches introduce the children to a wide range of sports on the artificial-turf pitches and in the sports hall. At the same time there is plenty of room for free play, both indoors and outdoors: cooking, nature activities and carrying out their own ideas are all part of the day. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart framework of Kind&Co Ludens, putting the child’s well-being and enjoyment first. Children feel safe and challenged with us: they are given trust and space to explore, grow and play together in a rich, inspiring environment. BSO Sport Abcoude is open only during school holidays, allowing parents to combine flexible childcare with holiday and work schedules.
