Welcome to Spiegeltuin, our toddler care centre in the heart of Rucphen. We are part of Kober, a trusted childcare organisation connecting more than 200 locations across West-Brabant. At Spiegeltuin we care for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe, homely atmosphere. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff is ready every morning to discover the world together with your toddler. A day at Spiegeltuin begins with a warm welcome and a shared moment. Then we start activities that match your child's developmental stage. We dress up, build with blocks, exercise in the spacious area, read from our book collection and make music with simple instruments. Pedagogical staff member Sofia says: "Toddlers are curious, a perfect moment to playfully get acquainted with colours and shapes for example." Spiegeltuin works with a VVE programme (Pre- and Early School Education). In this programme we pay extra attention to the Dutch language, so that children who need it can make a good start at primary school. If your child is eligible for this programme, you will receive a referral through the child health clinic. Our location is situated in the school building of primary school St. Martinus, allowing your toddler to become familiar with the school environment. We operate Monday to Friday from 08.15 to 12.15. The hourly rate includes food, drinks, fruit, nappies and all extra activities. Through the Parent App we keep you daily informed about your child's experiences.
