Peuteropvang 't Speulhuus is a welcoming place in Staphorst where toddlers aged 2 to 4 years play, discover and grow together. We are located in a pleasant building at Staphorster Kerkweg 40, which also houses OBS de Berkenhorst and the Christian National School. This unique location provides a warm transition between our childcare staff and the primary school teachers, ensuring a smooth start to elementary education. At 't Speulhuus, we believe every child should feel safe and secure. We work with small groups to give individual attention to each child's development. Our activities are specially designed for toddlers and stimulate language development, motor skills and social interaction. We offer Pre-school Education (VE), a program that provides extra attention to language development and school readiness. This program includes 16 hours per week, spread over multiple days. The toddler group meets twice a week for half-day sessions. Costs depend on your income, regardless of whether you work or not. For children who need extra support with language development, the consultation bureau can issue a 'Declaration for participation in VE'. With this declaration, your child can participate in the extended VE program without additional costs. We work closely with the municipality of Staphorst and the consultation bureau to ensure every child receives appropriate support. Our spaces are equipped with toys, books and games specially developed for toddlers. This gives your child a good start for primary school in a familiar and stimulating environment.
