Spetters Noord

BSO Spetters Noord is located inside the Van Maanenbad – also known as Sportfondsen Rotterdam Noord – at Van Maanenstraat 8 in Rotterdam. We provide after-school care for children from 8 years old up to the end of primary school. The location has a maximum capacity of 40 children. Our space is divided into different play and discovery corners. Children can retreat to the reading corner, build in the construction area, get creative in the arts-and-crafts corner, or quietly do homework on the computer. We also have our own outdoor area: the swimming pool’s backyard, where children can run, play and romp to their heart’s content. When the outdoor pool is open, our after-school children are welcome to use it as well. BSO Spetters Noord works in partnership with Daltonschool De Margriet (main site) and Daltonschool De Margriet Noorderhavenkade. Children are walked from school to the after-school care location. In addition to after-school care, we also provide before-school care (VSO). This starts every morning at 7:00 a.m. and takes place at De Kinderkade. On Wednesdays, Fridays and during all school holidays the children are cared for at BSO De Pierewaaier, so parents can always rely on a familiar place. We value parental involvement. Together with BSO Pierewaaier and BSO Dominikids we have an active parent committee that helps shape policy and activities.
