Welcome to Spelen Buitenshuis Amsterdam, our small-scale daycare centre located at Laan van Vlaanderen 472 in Amsterdam’s Nieuw-West district. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into two horizontal age groups: 0-2 years and 2-4 years. Thanks to our deliberately small scale, every child is seen, heard and understood 100% of the time. A fixed team of dedicated and enthusiastic pedagogical staff is ready for you every day, so your child always meets familiar faces. Everything we do revolves around outdoor play and nature experience. Do you love nature and being outside? So do we. We place great value on outdoor play and interacting with nature. Hands in the mud, hair in the wind, running through the park or playing in our own garden – it’s all possible. Indoors is just as cosy: resting on the sofa with a picture book, doing crafts at the table, playing with the train set or building a mega block castle. We offer an environment that is safe and healthy, yet stimulating and challenging. We believe every child is unique and that diversity is a strength. We embrace each child’s talents and foster mutual understanding and growth. At lunchtime the children enjoy a warm meal, after which there is time for rest, sleep or more play. We offer full-day or half-day care, so there is always an option that suits your family situation.
