Speelvijver

Welcome to Speelvijver, our after-school care location at Vrije Nesse 11 in the heart of Dronenwijk, Bodegraven. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 6 who attend De Verhoeff-Rollmanschool or another nearby primary school. Our experienced pedagogical staff pick the children up on foot or with our own bicycle buses and bring them safely to the green, spacious garden of Speelvijver. Everything we do revolves around creative discovery and movement. Children cook and bake in our child-friendly kitchen, craft with natural materials and build adventurous huts together on the large playground. Every Monday we offer a swimming service: a pedagogical employee accompanies the children who take swimming lessons to swimming pool De Kuil and stays present during the lesson. We also collaborate with the Bodegraven Sport and Welfare Foundation, allowing us to participate in weekly sports, cultural and creative workshops tailored to the children. Our breakfast club is there for early birds: from 7:30 AM we start calmly with a healthy breakfast and play for a while before school starts. During holidays and study days we offer holiday care from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, so parents can rely on our care outside the regular school weeks as well. Speelvijver is part of Junis Childcare, a reliable partner in the region since 1970. We work intensively with parents, schools and the municipality to provide every child with a safe, challenging place where they can develop through play.
