Vlinder

BSO Vlinder is located in the community building adjacent to De Vlinder primary school at Bloesemtuin 17a in Houten. We provide small-scale after-school care specifically for children from De Vlinder. Our after-school care space is cozily and homely furnished with various materials and opportunities for activities. There is an extensive selection of construction materials, board games, and craft and technical materials. We have a building and household corner and a chill corner where children can relax with, for example, a book. We offer a challenging activity program that is tailored to the spaces and materials. For drama activities, there is a beautiful theater wardrobe where children can fully dress up. In the kitchen, various cooking activities are offered, and in the playroom and outdoors, there is plenty of space for movement activities. At BSO Vlinder, we work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. We believe it is important that children feel comfortable and have fun, as this creates space for development. We give children confidence and space to discover and be curious. We provide an inspiring and challenging environment where play is discovery and learning. Our care is a mini-society where we have an eye for each other and the world around us.
