Speelleerplein De Vlieger

Welcome to Kiem Opvang De Vlieger, our after-school care located at Hertstraat 4 in Volkel. We are part of Kiem Education and Care, operating under one vision with a single team of professionals in both education and childcare. Our BSO is housed in the same building as Speelleerplein De Vlieger primary school, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment after school hours to play, discover, and relax. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13, both before school (from 7:00 AM) and after school (until 6:30 PM). Care takes place within the school building, so children do not need to travel and can join immediately after school. We are also open during school holidays and free days, ensuring parents can always rely on us. Our pedagogical approach aligns seamlessly with the vision of Speelleerplein De Vlieger: children are encouraged to be themselves and are given space to develop in their own way. We spark their curiosity, foster engagement, and teach them collaboration. Whether playing outside in the yard, enjoying fruit with friends, or participating in creative activities – every day is different and centered around fun and personal growth. Parents are involved through our school app Klasbord, which we use for daily communication about their child’s well-being. We regularly organize excursions and outings, and parents are warmly invited to join and help. Together, we create a safe and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
