Speelleergroep Zoelen

Speelleergroep Zoelen is located inside primary school Den Aldenhaag at Jeudestraat 78 in the centre of Zoelen. As part of RivaKids, we offer a familiar and small-scale setting where toddlers aged 2 to 4 are playfully prepared for primary school. Our play-and-learn group focuses entirely on the development of young children. We follow an official Early Childhood Education programme that targets language development, social-emotional growth and motor skills. Activities are tailored to toddlers’ world of experience: we read stories, do arts and crafts, sing songs and make full use of the rich outdoor area the school provides. This challenging playground encourages natural play and discovery. We work in horizontal groups, meaning children of the same age play and learn together. This supports the development of social skills such as co-operating, sharing and taking turns. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained to ensure the smoothest possible transition from toddler care to primary education. Speelleergroep Zoelen offers care on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. We value a warm hand-over to primary school and therefore work closely with the teachers of groups 1 and 2 at Den Aldenhaag. As a result, your child will already be familiar with both the teacher and the school itself.
