Speelleergroep t Draeckske

Speelleergroep ‘t Draeckske is located on the ground floor of primary school Het Spick, right in the centre of Beesel. As a certified Early Childhood Education (VVE) playgroup, we provide professional toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our team of experienced, qualified pedagogical staff welcomes children every morning from Monday to Thursday, 8.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. We follow the theme-based ‘Startblokken’ programme. Through play, children practise language, numeracy and social skills—whether they are counting blocks while building a tall tower or discovering new words during role-play. We read picture books daily, sing songs and create small art projects with paint, cutting and sticking. Pupils from the primary school regularly come to read aloud in our circle time, so the toddlers already grow towards their next step in education while playing. Together with parents we form a close team. Three times a year we invite new parents for a coffee morning: you can join in the play, receive explanations about our approach and ask all your questions. We celebrate events such as Carnival, Sinterklaas and Kinjerdraaksjtaeken together with the school and hold elaborate birthday circles for the children. If your child has an Early Childhood Education indication, he or she can attend four mornings after the summer holidays; we arrange the administration for childcare allowance and municipal subsidy. At ‘t Draeckske, fun, safety and development are central. We offer a warm, small-scale environment in which your child can be themselves and discover step by step what they can already do.
