Speelhutje

Peuteropvang Het Speelhutje is located within OBS Glanerbrug Noord at Bultsweg 170 in Enschede. We provide care for up to 14 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our mission is to give children the space to be themselves, both indoors and outdoors. We use the VVE method Startblokken, which stimulates toddlers' development through play activities and current themes that connect with children's experiences. Each day, children are given the freedom to shape their own play and choose where and with whom they play. Additionally, we offer planned activities where the process of active discovery, trying out, and experiencing is central. The joy of being engaged is more important than the outcome. Our play areas are carefully designed with play corners that match the current theme. Each theme centers around a book. We believe young children learn best by actively engaging with 'real' things that invite experimentation and discovery. In this way, all areas of development are addressed throughout the year.
