Welcome to Fris! Day-care Centre ’t Zandkasteel, located in the heart of Elst Ut at De Spijlen 3. Our day-care is part of Fris! Kinderopvang, the organisation that once started as the very first Dalton day-care centre in the Netherlands. In the cosy village building Het Bestengoed we offer children aged 0 to 4 a safe, playful and familiar place to grow. Everything we do revolves around self-confidence, play and personal attention. We follow the Dalton principles: children learn to ‘do it themselves’ and are given space to take steps towards independence at their own pace. Play is the most important form of learning. In our spacious hall with ball pit and in the challenging play corners in the group rooms, children discover the world around them. Whenever the weather allows, we go outside; we have our own enclosed outdoor area with play equipment and plenty of materials. We maintain a well-considered rhythm that provides predictability and security. At the same time, there is room for creative freedom so that every child can develop optimally. Our pedagogical staff are ready with warm, loving care and have an eye for every child and their parents. Short lines of communication and personal attention are paramount. Day-care ’t Zandkasteel is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, all year round (except official public holidays and one staff training day per year). We offer both horizontal groups (babies 0-2 years, toddlers 2-4 years) and a vertical group (0-4 years), so we can tailor care to whatever suits your child best.
