Eigen&Wijzer BSO De Avonturiers

Welcome to BSO De Avonturiers, the place in De Kwakel where children from primary school De Zon can play and explore together after school. Our after-school care is located in the facilities of sports complex KDO, within walking distance of the school. Here children can release their energy, learn new things and push their boundaries. After school, we walk together with the children to our after-school care facility. First, there's time for a shared meal with something to eat and drink. Then it's time to play! Inside there's a table football table and plenty of creative materials available. Every day we offer fun and varied activities, where children can choose what they want to participate in. At the KDO sports complex, we have plenty of opportunities to get active and play sports. Children can receive an independence contract that both children and parents sign. With this, a child is allowed to play independently within the KDO grounds. Sports at KDO can be easily combined with an after-school care afternoon; we bring the children to their sports club. Our pedagogical professionals give tips and advice, but mainly let children try things themselves. This way their self-confidence and self-reliance grow. We work from the conviction that every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. By giving children ownership of their activities, they experience autonomy and learn important social skills. During school holidays and study days, De Avonturiers is open from 08:30 to 18:30, with a special Holiday Madness program full of challenging activities, fun outings and in-depth clinics. We go on adventures or invite external partners to give the children a unique experience. BSO De Avonturiers provides care for up to 40 children aged 7 to 13 years. Younger children (4-6 years) are cared for at BSO De Zuiderzon, located in primary school De Zon itself.
