Welcome to Specialistisch Verpleegkundig KDV Prikkebeen, located at Huib van de Vechtlaan 4 in Bunnik. We are a small-scale daycare centre for up to 38 children aged 0-4. What makes us special is that we care for both healthy children and children with (complex) medical conditions or somatic disabilities. Children are placed in small horizontal groups, so babies, toddlers and preschoolers each have their own tailored environment. At Prikkebeen your child’s wellbeing comes first. Our team consists of specialised paediatric nurses and experienced childcare professionals. The nurses handle all medical care and draw up individual treatment plans, while the pedagogical staff provide daily guidance, play and developmental activities. Together we create a safe, protected yet stimulating environment where every child is free to be a child. Our site features a modern gym and a large adventure garden with its own vegetable patch. Children play outside every day, enjoying sand and water play, gardening and nature exploration. For children with feeding difficulties we offer a dedicated eating-training programme. Care is fully customised: from bottle feeds to hot meals, from allergies to tube feeding – everything is professionally managed and discussed with parents. Flexibility matters to our families. We offer both full-day and half-day care, tailored to your work and care schedule. Nappies, wipes, formula and care products are all included, so you can drop off your child worry-free. Our door is open to every child, regardless of medical background. Together we ensure your child develops to the fullest, enjoys coming to Prikkebeen and returns home with confidence.
