Solidoe BSO Buiten Gewoon

Welcome to Solidoe BSO Buiten Gewoon, our brand-new after-school care center on the edge of Kudelstaart. The name says it all: we are an extraordinary BSO in a special location. Instead of standard playground equipment, we offer a naturally designed outdoor space where children can discover, play and grow. Our location features its own vegetable garden where children grow fruits and vegetables together with our educational staff. The harvest is used in our children's kitchen to prepare delicious meals. We also have chickens on our grounds, teaching children how to interact with animals and nature. For sports activities, we use the sports field at VZOD, our other Solidoe location across the street. At Buiten Gewoon, children aged 7 and 8 from all primary schools in Kudelstaart are welcome. We pick up children with our own vans or they come by bike. When they turn 9, they move on to BSO VZOD. We are open 52 weeks per year, Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 6:30 PM. Our vision is simple: every child deserves space for their own way of growth. We provide a homely atmosphere where children feel at home. In addition to the vegetable garden and children's kitchen, we have a stage where children can express their imagination and an atelier where they can craft and tinker.
