SOL De Watervlinder nr. 13

Welcome to SOL De Watervlinder nr. 13, our after-school care (BSO) location at Druivengaarde 13 in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. We provide after-school care for 97 children aged 4 to 13. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, we work closely with SOL De Watervlinder primary school, ensuring a seamless and safe transition from classroom to after-school activities. Our programme centres on healthy, active leisure. We are an officially certified Healthy School, giving extra attention to sport and movement through skate clinics, dance lessons and collaboration with local sports provider Hi5. From Year 2 onwards, all children take part in the Rock & Water training: a psycho-physical programme that builds self-confidence, self-reflection and teamwork. Our professional staff guide children in small, well-organised groups, allowing every child space to discover and develop their talents. The building is spacious and child-friendly, designed to create a warm, structured and clear environment where children feel at home. After school, children choose from a variety of activities: sports and games, creative corners, quiet reading areas or joint projects. We also offer homework support and encourage social skills through cooperative play. Feel free to visit for a tour and see how we give children a happy, healthy and challenging time after school.
