SNO Barneveld

Welcome to SNO Barneveld, the place for sporty after-school care in Barneveld. We are located at a unique spot: the korfball canteen of ODIK at Sportpark Oosterbos, Wethouder Rebellaan 140. With us, everything revolves around movement, having fun and developing after school hours. Our name says it all: SNO stands for Sportive After-School Care. We are the 'Sports BSO' of Barneveld. We believe that children need to release their energy after a long school day. That's why we offer a complete program focused on sustainable improvement and a healthy, enjoyable lifestyle for children aged 4 to 13. An afternoon at SNO starts with pick-up from school. We collect the children ourselves with our transport from school to our location. A familiar face is already waiting at the school gate. This provides peace and recognition for both child and parent. When the weather is good, we are outside as much as possible. We motivate and activate the children to participate in fun sports activities such as dodgeball, a scooter race or 'buskruit'. Our location at the sports park offers plenty of opportunities for this. We use the sports fields and our own play areas to keep the children active. When the weather doesn't cooperate, we can still have fun indoors. In the canteen and associated spaces, children can quietly read a book, make a drawing or play a game together with our supervisors. We find it important that every child can relax in their own way after school. During an afternoon at SNO, all children receive healthy snacks and drinks. We provide a sandwich or a piece of fruit. If your child practices a sport, we ensure he or she will be present on time. Sports and games contribute to the development of the child in various areas. Both physically and cognitively, socially and emotionally, much can be learned through sports and games. Through sports and games, children learn to deal with their body and discover their possibilities. They learn to work together in teams, deal with rules and learn to win or lose. In short: at SNO Barneveld, children develop in a playful, sporty way.
