Snippers

Snippers is a daycare center operated by KindeRdam located at Max Havelaarweg 50 in Hoogvliet Rotterdam. We provide care for up to 56 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare is housed in a standalone building with two groups for babies and two groups for toddlers. We feature a large natural garden where children can explore, play and learn to their heart's content. A special section of our garden is dedicated to creating and maintaining a vegetable garden together with the children. The garden also offers ample opportunities for cycling, playing with sand and water, and experimenting with natural materials. Inside, the group spaces are carefully designed with natural materials and connected so children can continue their discovery journey. We work with the VVE program Uk & Puk, specifically developed for young children. As a Het NatuurRijk location, we pay extra attention to nature, sustainability and each other. We believe children develop best through play and discovery in a rich learning environment. Parent involvement is very important to us. We have an active parent committee that contributes to the development of our location, and we regularly organize parent evenings on interesting topics. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in the development of young children and create a warm and safe environment where every child can flourish.
