Peuteropvang Sneeuwmuis

Peuteropvang Sneeuwmuis is located inside De Lotus Community School in the Hoog Zandveld district, at Lupinestraat 17, Nieuwegein. We provide preschool care and early-years education for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4. Our two bright classrooms feature different play corners that invite children to explore and play either on their own or together. We follow the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens, built on four pillars: every child should feel happy and have fun; each child is given trust and space to grow and discover; we actively offer a rich and challenging environment; and we learn to live together in a mini-society. For early childhood education we use the Uk & Puk programme. We run two VVE groups and work closely with the primary schools in the same building. Joint activities are organised regularly and we ensure a warm hand-over from the preschool group to Year 1. Thanks to the facilities of the community school – a large kitchen, play hall, reading room and atrium – we can offer our toddlers even more opportunities. The centre is closed during school holidays. Parents can register their child via our website.
