SKSG Wierde

SKSG Wierde is our after-school care location in Community Center Trefpunt in the Beijum district. We provide care for up to 30 school children aged 4 to 12 years. Children come to us after school and have all the freedom to organize their own time. Crafts, outdoor play, reading or playing games: everything is allowed! We believe it's important that children become independent. That's why we encourage them to make choices and undertake activities themselves. For older children (8-13 years), we have developed the TOP program (Time for Relaxation and Fun), where they learn to plan and carry out activities more independently. Our location features a cooking island where we regularly cook and bake with the children. There's a real stage where children can perform or give presentations. Outside, we have a basketball court where children can move and play. We work together with De Dom Helder Camara school and Tine Marcusschool. Most children come independently from school to our after-school care, but if desired, our pedagogical staff can also pick up children from school on foot. Our opening hours are from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on school days. During holidays and study days, we provide care at BSO Kameleon. For these days, parents have signed a separate contract. Our team consists of enthusiastic and committed pedagogical staff who ensure a cozy and relaxed atmosphere every day. We give children the freedom they can handle and provide support where needed. This way, every child receives exactly the attention they deserve.
