SKSG UMCG

Welcome to SKSG UMCG, our daycare center located right on the grounds of the University Medical Center Groningen. We provide care for up to 44 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely environment specially designed for babies and toddlers. Our location is open daily from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, offering flexible childcare that accommodates the varying work schedules of healthcare professionals. At SKSG UMCG, we work with mixed-age groups where children from 0 to 4 years play and learn together. In addition to these mixed-age groups, we also have a special baby group for children aged 0 to 2 years. We believe personal attention is most important and encourage each child to develop into the best version of themselves: themselves! Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment where children can grow at their own pace. Our location features a lovely garden where children can play and explore to their heart's content. For our youngest children, we have special sleeping areas designed with rest and routine as central elements. We offer a beautiful breastfeeding room where mothers can feed in peace. For babies, we provide bottle feeding when needed. The flexible childcare options make our location particularly suitable for parents with irregular working hours. SKSG UMCG has been officially registered since March 1, 2020 and is supervised by the GGD Groningen. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Stad Groningen, we operate according to national childcare quality standards, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
