SKSG Toverlantaarn Doppejan

Welcome to SKSG Toverlantaarn Doppejan, our anthroposophical toddler group in the heart of Groningen's Rivierenbuurt. Located at Huygensstraat 2, within walking distance of Central Station, we are part of SKSG Toverlantaarn which offers anthroposophical childcare at three locations in the area. Our Doppejan toddler group is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years. Everything we do revolves around calmness, regularity and attention to each unique child. We follow the seasons closely and celebrate the annual festivals. Every day we bake fresh bread with the children and sing together. We work exclusively with natural materials and organic products. Our enclosed garden and playground with natural elements invites play and discovery. We go outside twice daily. We work from an anthroposophical view of humanity and the world. Each child is a unique personality following their own life path. Our goal is to let children discover and develop their unique abilities. We offer a warm, homely atmosphere where children receive lots of personal attention. We are affiliated with the Vrije School. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:30 to 12:45. We work with a fixed daily rhythm that provides much calm and regularity. There is space for a maximum of 16 children per day.
