SKSG Symfonie

Welcome to SKSG Symfonie, our daycare centre located in the heart of Helpman, inside the brand-new Joseph Haydn school at Helper Brink 50. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years in horizontal age-based groups. Babies rest and play in a calm, secure room with at most two consistent pedagogical staff. We follow Emmi Pikler’s approach, giving every child time and space to develop at their own pace. Our toddler group uses the Startblokken Early Childhood Education programme: each child aged 2.5-4 receives at least 960 hours of preschool education, delivered over 16 hours per week. Children from 2-2.5 years can already join. Our large, enclosed garden invites outdoor play and outdoor naps. We regularly cook together, create crafts with natural materials and make music. Trips to the nearby playground ‘de Helpen’ and themed days on nature or cooking complete our offer. Mutual respect and respect for nature are core values. Diapers, formula, fruit and drinks are included. We accommodate allergies and special diets. An active parent committee helps shape policy and activities.
