SKSG Ster

Welcome to SKSG Ster, our cozy junior after-school care located in IKC de Starter at Verzetsstrijderslaan 2a in Groningen. We provide a safe, familiar place for toddlers aged 2 to 6 years. Our childcare center is housed in the Openbare Daltonschool de Starter, with whom we work closely. This collaboration makes the transition to kindergarten as smooth as possible! At SKSG Ster, we believe outdoor play is very important. Every day we go outside, because outdoor play is good for development and makes children happy! We love going to Stadspark where we play tag, kick a ball around, or play hide and seek. We also frequently visit the basketball court or playground. Additionally, there's a petting zoo within walking distance. Our groups are organized by age. For toddlers from 2 years old, we have a special junior after-school care. When your child turns 5, they can move to the upper group where we do activities more suited to their age. We work with dedicated staff who find personal attention for each child very important. When your child enters grade 3, you can choose whether they go to SKSG Poolster after-school care or SKSG Stadspark. For parents who work long days, we offer extended care from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Please contact SKSG Customer Service for this! Our location is cozy and homely, where children feel at home. We believe children can be themselves and encourage them to become the best they can be: themselves!
