SKSG Stadspark

Welcome to SKSG Stadspark, our Nature After-School Care located in the scouting building in the middle of Stadspark at Concourslaan 2 in Groningen. We provide after-school care for up to 65 children aged 4 to 12 years. Nature experience is central to us: jumping over ditches, lying in tall grass, climbing trees, making flower wreaths, getting muddy and building dams under the bridge with water, stones and sand. We are almost always outside, even when the weather is less favorable. Our activities are as much as possible connected to nature, taking the seasons into account. We work with three groups: two groups for children aged 4 to 7 years and one group for 8 to 12-year-olds. Our location is Dalton-oriented and open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We pick up children from schools de Starter (Parkweg and Concourslaan) and de Tamarisk (Canadalaan), but children from other schools are of course also very welcome. Our toys are made from natural materials as much as possible and in our food policy we use many organic products. We find it important that children can optimally enjoy and learn from all the beauty that nature has to offer, so that they develop enthusiasm and respect for everything that grows and blooms.
