SKSG Preschool

Welcome to SKSG Preschool located at Rijksstraatweg 24 in Haren! We are a daycare centre offering a unique preschool programme in collaboration with GSV for children aged 3 to 4. Our small-scale group accommodates a maximum of 15 children and is led by two qualified staff members who speak both English and Dutch. This makes us an ideal choice for international and Dutch families alike. Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) from the British National Curriculum. We provide a rich variety of activities focused on literacy, numeracy, music, dance and science. Children have daily access to outdoor play in our spacious garden. We operate on fixed mornings: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A minimum booking of two mornings per week is required. Our location is situated in the same building as the International Primary School Groningen (IPS), with whom we closely collaborate. This provides an ideal preparation for both Dutch and international primary education. We maintain a healthy treat policy and accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. Our goal is to support each child’s optimal development across social-emotional, cognitive and physical domains. We follow a consistent daily rhythm where structure and playful learning go hand in hand. Parents are actively involved and we welcome questions and discussions.
