SKSG Nautilus

BSO Nautilus is a small-scale after-school care facility located inside primary school Het Nautilus at Geert Waldastraat 2 in Zuidhorn. We provide care exclusively for children attending this school. Located within the school building itself, the transition from school to after-school care is smooth and familiar. We work closely with the school as part of an Integral Child Centre (IKC), sharing one vision focused on each child's talents. Our activity programme is varied and challenging. We use an activity calendar built around six recurring annual themes: science and technology, nature and sustainability, nutrition, sports and movement, and arts and culture. During holidays and inset days we organise extra activities such as trips to the petting zoo, cinema visits, or adventures on the barefoot path. We offer flexible care and extended care until 18:30. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:00. On Wednesday and Friday and during school holidays care is provided at SKSG Noordster. We follow a child-centred approach: every child has an individual development plan in which his or her talents are optimally utilised. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure with us, so they can fully develop.
