SKSG Bredero KDV

Welcome to SKSG Bredero KDV, our daycare centre located at Ina Boudierplantsoen 3 in Groningen. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Stad Groningen and provide childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and homely environment. Our centre is situated within the Bredero School, giving us access to a spacious gym and a beautiful garden. We are also right next to a large green park, which we visit daily for play and discovery. At SKSG Bredero KDV, we work with small-scale groups. Our core group 'Astronautjes' has a maximum of 16 children aged 2 to 4. Each child has a dedicated mentor who provides personal attention and a familiar base. We use a horizontal group structure, where children are grouped by age. This supports tailored development and contributes to a secure and warm atmosphere. Our pedagogical approach focuses on challenge, exploration and development. We use the VVE programme Piramide, which introduces children to language, numeracy, motor skills and social interaction through play. Themes are built up over four weeks, from orientation to deepening. We offer activities in science, technology and nature, as well as music, crafts and reading. Regular outings to the library or park are also part of our programme. We believe in healthy and varied meals. We serve fruit and healthy snacks daily and accommodate allergies and dietary needs. There is also plenty of space for rest and sleep, with fixed nap times and quiet corners in the group. At SKSG Bredero KDV, personal attention is key. We aim to provide every child with the opportunity to develop optimally in a safe, familiar and stimulating environment. Together with parents, we create a warm place where children can be themselves.
