SKSG Bengelhuus

Welcome to SKSG Bengelhuus, our warm and homely daycare centre located in the village hall De Dörpstee at Noorderweg 61c in Noordhorn. We provide professional childcare for up to 28 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our small-scale approach ensures that every child receives the personal attention they deserve. We follow a fixed, familiar daily rhythm tailored to your child’s individual needs. The morning starts around 9:30 a.m. with fruit or a cracker and (fruit) tea or water. This is followed by development-oriented activities based on the VVE programme Piramide and free play. At around 11:30 a.m. we share a bread meal with (buttermilk). After lunch most children take a nap; children who want to sleep earlier are put to bed sooner. Children who stay awake enjoy activities and free play. Around 3:00-3:30 p.m. the children receive another drink and snack, after which we organise fun and educational activities again. At about 5:00 p.m. a small meal may be offered. Our spacious garden provides both safety and challenge for children aged 0-4. Various play structures, play materials and ride-on toys are available. We go outside every day so your child can romp and explore in the fresh air. Our pedagogical staff are warm, caring and enthusiastic. They guide your child’s development with knowledge and experience. We apply the four-eyes principle to ensure optimal safety. At SKSG Bengelhuus a safe, familiar environment with familiar faces is paramount. We offer you the opportunity to come for two settling-in visits: once together with your child and once when your child joins the group independently for a short period.
