Molshoop

Welcome to de Molshoop, the nature-based after-school care (BSO) of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland. We are located in Natuurpark Blokweer at Kloosterhout 1 in Blokker. Our site includes a farm, a natural playground and a large park where children can fully immerse themselves in nature. Children aged 7 and older who have a swimming certificate and attend any primary school in Hoorn are welcome. We arrange all transportation to and from school. We are open on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 13:30 to 18:30. During school holidays de Molshoop is closed. Our pedagogical staff provide a varied activity programme centred on nature. Children help on the farm, feed the animals and create crafts such as birdhouses and Christmas decorations. They also regularly visit the natural playground and bake bread rolls over the campfire. There are no additional fees for placement at de Molshoop; you pay the regular BSO rate. De Molshoop is the place for children who love being outdoors and enjoy nature.
