Raccers

BSO de Raccers is located in the centre of Hoorn, in a building we share with theme BSO Het Podium. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 and are open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Our location is easily accessible by car and bicycle and is only a 10-minute walk from Hoorn train station. We work in partnership with Mariaschool and Montessori Kindcentrum. Children are placed in age-based groups: our youngest children (from 4 years) are on the ground floor, while older children have their groups on the upper floor. This age grouping allows us to offer activities tailored to each developmental stage and the specific needs of every age group. Our beautiful nature garden connects perfectly with children's world of experience. We also regularly use the adjacent playground of Montessori Kindcentrum for various sports activities. During 'bewegingswijs' sessions, our oldest children organise fun sports activities for the youngest – a wonderful way to learn from each other! In collaboration with music school Boedjn, we offer music lessons at our location. Additionally, children can participate in swimming lessons (A diploma level) at Sportschool Frits van der Werff on Tuesday afternoons. Thanks to our central location in Hoorn, we can also regularly organise exciting excursions. BSO de Raccers is part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland, which has been providing childcare for over 40 years at more than 40 locations in Hoorn and surrounding areas.
