Ska Kindcentrum Peuter Pallas

Ska Peuter Pallas is a Montessori playgroup for children aged 2.5 to 4 years, located at Heinsiuslaan 1 in Amersfoort. We share the building with Montessori primary school Pallas Athene and follow the same educational philosophy: every child is unique and has a natural drive to discover and develop themselves. Our guiding principle is ‘Help me to do it myself!’ and we bring this to life daily in a rich, playful learning environment. In our open, bright classroom we offer a prepared environment filled with carefully selected Montessori materials. These materials are specially designed to support the sensitive periods of young children. Children can choose whether to play on a rug or sit at a table to work on an activity. The layout is clear and recognisable, allowing toddlers to move and choose independently. This fosters their self-reliance and independence. Outside we have our own section of the school playground with play equipment and outdoor toys. We are open five mornings a week from 8:15 to 12:00. Our small-scale group has room for a maximum of 16 children, ensuring plenty of personal attention. Children who attend our playgroup receive priority when enrolling at Montessori school Pallas Athene. Our enthusiastic team of professional pedagogical staff is happy to guide your child on their way to primary school. We see Ska Peuter Pallas as the ideal ‘play-and-learn garden’ where learning through play and playing while learning come together.
