Sint Jan

BSO De Sint Jan is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Sint Jan, located at Haaksbergerstraat 255 in Enschede. We work closely with Sint Jan Primary School, ensuring that our after-school programmes flow seamlessly from the school day. The school describes itself as ‘a school for exceptionally good education’, rooted in a Catholic worldview. These same values – attention for one another, respectful interaction and a warm atmosphere – are reflected in our out-of-school care. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide children aged 4 to 12 with a familiar place to relax and explore new things after school. Children can join activities in sports, cooking and crafts. We make full use of the generous indoor and outdoor spaces of the child centre: there is always something to do, play or discover. On days when there is no school – such as study days and holidays – we love to organise something special so that children enjoy a fun and stimulating day. Because we are located inside the school building, the transition from classroom to after-school care is effortless. We collect the children from their classrooms and take them to our own areas, giving parents a single address for both school and care.
