Welcome to Sinne daycare and playgroup Teresa, located at Wergeasterdyk 58 in Leeuwarden. We are part of Sinne Childcare, a social childcare organization that has been active in Leeuwarden and surroundings for over 25 years. Our location accommodates up to 54 children from 10 weeks to 4 years old. Everything we do revolves around the child. We work according to the pedagogical vision of Emmi Pikler, where we start from the competent child: curious, investigative and capable of shaping their own development. Our pedagogical staff provide peace, regularity and recognizability, so that children can safely develop at their own pace. Our location features spacious, bright group rooms that are furnished according to the needs of different age groups. The baby group offers a quiet environment with cribs and changing facilities, while the toddler groups have stimulating play corners for discovery and play. The large, natural outdoor playground invites outdoor play and nature discovery. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This provides peace and recognizability, and makes it possible to specifically respond to the developmental needs of each age. Our permanent pedagogical staff create a familiar environment in which children feel safe to grow. As part of IKC Teresa, we work closely with primary school Teresa. This collaboration offers benefits such as a smooth transition to primary school and joint activities. Together we form an Integral Child Center where education and childcare seamlessly connect. Our opening hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, allowing us to flexibly respond to parents' childcare needs. We provide daycare based on contract hours, where parents can determine how many days and hours they need. At Sinne daycare and playgroup Teresa, your child's development is central. We offer a safe, familiar environment where children can play, discover and grow at their own pace.
