Welcome to Sinne daycare and playgroup Prins Constantijn, part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Prins Constantijn located at Willem Sprengerstraat 77 in Leeuwarden. Since 2020 we have joined forces with PCBO Leeuwarden e.o. to create one location where childcare and education blend seamlessly. For children aged 0 to 4 we operate two daycare groups and one playgroup, with room for up to 48 children at a time in a safe and stimulating environment. Our daycare centre follows the Dutch Childcare Act and focuses entirely on the very youngest. We use horizontal groups, so babies, toddlers and preschoolers are placed with peers and all activities are tailored to their developmental stage. Thanks to the close cooperation with the primary school in the same building, children experience a continuous line; they feel no sharp boundary between childcare and education and grow up in one familiar setting. Inside our spacious, bright rooms and secure outdoor area children have every opportunity to play, discover and learn. We deliberately align themes with the school, always connecting to the world of young children. Our pedagogical team consists of qualified childcare professionals who continuously respond to each child’s needs.
