Sinne after-school care Middelsee is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Middelsee located at Felling 2 in the new Middelsee district of Leeuwarden. In this modern building, we combine education and childcare under one roof, allowing children aged 4 to 12 to flow directly after school to a familiar place where they can play, relax and develop. Our after-school care accommodates up to 84 children and is open every weekday from 07:30 to 18:30, including during school holidays. We work closely with the primary school within the IKC, so children can come to an environment they already know after their school day or on free days. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children with homework, discovering new interests and strengthening social skills. IKC Middelsee is situated in a green environment and offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. We organize after-school activities that connect with the world of experience of primary school children. Think of sports and games, creative workshops and cultural outings. Our supervisors encourage children to participate in activities that match their interests and help them further in their development. Parents can register their child directly with us for after-school care, in addition to primary school. During an introductory meeting, parents and children receive a tour of the IKC and we explain how we work together to provide a safe and stimulating environment for their child.
