Welcome to Sinne After-School Care De Pionier-dependance, located at Molkenkelder 4c in Leeuwarden. We are part of Kindcentrum De Pionier, where education and childcare come together in one inspiring environment. Our after-school care is situated in a beautiful rural area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with plenty of space to play outside, play football or hide and seek in our extensive playground. We put the child first. We provide care for up to 84 children aged 4 to 12. Our location is carefully designed with different rooms, each with its own function. We have a cooking studio where children can bake their own cookies, an art studio for creative outbursts, a construction room for building and technology, and a large living room corner for relaxation and cosiness. Each child chooses daily where he or she wants to get to work. Our range of activities is broad and varied. We work thematically and tailor activities to the interests and ages of the children. Think of creative projects, music, singing and dancing, but also sporting challenges and nature experiences. We regularly visit the city garden for various projects and make use of the nearby forests, sports clubs, sports hall and scouting grounds. During school holidays and on school-free days, our after-school care is open from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm, so parents can also rely on us then. We believe that every child is unique, powerful and curious. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children can develop at their own pace. Together with OBS De Pionier, we form an Integral Child Centre (IKC), where education and childcare seamlessly connect. After school, children are directly transferred to our pedagogical staff, ensuring a familiar and continuous line in their day. In short, at Sinne After-School Care De Pionier-dependance, everything revolves around the children. We make every day a celebration!
