Sheppard's House

We are Sheppard’s House, a Christian after-school care centre located at Hawaiiweg 3 in Almere Buiten. Jesus is at the heart of everything we do; from the Bible we teach children that they are special, smart, unique and precious. We provide a homely, safe place where children aged 4 to 12 can spend their free time after school. Our qualified pedagogical staff are on site every weekday from 07:00 to 18:30 to guide the children. We start the morning with a communal breakfast, after which children can play freely or take part in optional activities. At around 09:00 we serve fruit and drinks, followed by a group activity. At 11:30 we eat bread together and have quiet moments. In the afternoon we serve a warm meal at 16:00 and end the day with yoghurt or a sandwich. We offer two clear packages. Package Diamond provides care on fixed days and times for 51 weeks at € 10.71 per hour, including 12 weeks of school holidays. Package Bronze is flexible: you book a minimum of 50 hours per month and can schedule hours up to one week in advance for € 11.50 per hour. Both packages are all-in: food, fruit and drinks are included. At Sheppard’s House we believe children need to feel safe. Only then will they dare to take steps to discover and develop their talents. We offer both before-school care (VSO) and after-school care (BSO), always in a positive, loving atmosphere.
