SDK Intermezzo

Welcome to SDK Intermezzo, located at Von Weberhof 1 in the heart of Oud-Beijerland. We provide certified daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our centre has four groups: two baby groups (0-2 years) called Trommel and Rammelaar, and two toddler groups (2-4 years) named Uk & Puk and Dreumes. Every child is given space to grow at their own pace, learn through play and simply enjoy being a child. We use the recognised Uk & Puk programme, a language- and development-oriented package that connects with the world of experience of young children. Each day we sing together, do arts and crafts with various materials and set aside time for reading aloud and exploring nature. Our pedagogical staff guide every child individually so that development proceeds optimally. For the very youngest we provide nappies, baby wipes and bottle feeding tailored to your baby’s rhythm. Toddlers receive a healthy bread meal and fresh fruit in between. We take allergies and other dietary wishes into account. Each group has a separate sleeping room where children can rest in a familiar environment. Our spacious garden invites outdoor play and nature experiences. We work with horizontal grouping: babies and toddler-toddlers are kept separate so that activities and care can be tailored to age and developmental stage.
