SDK Ikraatje

Welcome to SDK Ikraatje Spirea, our intimate playgroup located right inside the Islamic Primary School Ikra at Spirea 3 in Dordrecht. We are Anneloes and Linda, the proud managers of this special location where up to 16 toddlers grow and flourish through play each day. Our 'Butterflies' group is specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 years, providing a rich, safe and loving environment where every child can develop at their own pace. Child-centered development is at the heart of everything we do. We stimulate toddlers in a playful and natural way, taking into account their individual pace and interests. Our pedagogical professionals work closely with parents to create a warm atmosphere where children feel at home. Every day we provide fresh fruit, healthy snacks and drinks, and of course clean diapers for our youngest toddlers. Our Early Childhood Education program 'Uk & Puk' forms the foundation of our daily activities. Puk, our beloved puppet, is a familiar friend to the children. Together with Puk, they experience new adventures every day filled with songs, stories and creative craft activities. The themes perfectly match the toddlers' world of experience and are alternated with free play in small groups. This way we not only stimulate their language skills, but also their motor and social development in a playful manner. What makes us truly special is our unique partnership with IBS Ikra. We are literally located within the school, which means almost all our toddlers seamlessly transition to group 1 of this primary school. We work with a warm handover process where children become familiar with their new environment. This continuous line ensures the transition is minimally stressful and maximally familiar for the children. Our opening hours are Monday through Thursday from 08:30 to 12:30.
