Our childcare location on Frederik Hendrikstraat in Amsterdam-West offers daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years. We provide care in a homely atmosphere where every child is given the space to develop at their own pace. The groups are intentionally kept small, so our childcare professionals can give each child the personal attention they deserve. At SamSam, we believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. Our location is designed as a warm environment where children can play, discover and grow. We work with familiar faces and a consistent daily routine, so children know what to expect and quickly feel at home. The childcare is aimed at stimulating children in their development through play. We offer various activities that match the age and developmental stage of the child. Think of crafts, reading aloud, singing and outdoor play. There is also plenty of room for free play, where children can choose what they want to play with. This contributes to their independence and creativity. Our garden is an extension of the group space and offers children the opportunity to play outside. There is a sandbox, a slide and plenty of space to run and romp. We believe it is important that children get plenty of fresh air and learn to discover nature. We work closely with parents and believe open communication is very important. There is daily room for a brief consultation when dropping off and picking up the children. We also use a parent app through which we can share photos and messages, so parents stay informed about their child's development.
