Sam&minoes

Sam&minoes is located in the characteristic building of primary school De Windroos at Broederenstraat 16 in the heart of Deventer. As an after-school care facility (BSO) we are part of Sam&ko childcare, a not-for-profit organisation that has been working with parents and schools for more than thirty years to create safe, familiar places where children feel at home. We provide care for up to 33 school-age children from 4 to 13 years old. After school the children gather together, enjoy a drink and a bite to eat, and then choose what they want to do. Arts and crafts, reading, cooking, woodwork, playing outside in our garden or simply relaxing – everything is possible. Throughout the year we work with themes linked to the seasons or special holidays. In this way children continuously discover more about the world and develop naturally through play. Sam&minoes works closely with primary school De Windroos. This partnership ensures a continuous pedagogical line: children who attend our playgroup are guaranteed a place in our BSO, and we align our methods and themes with what happens at school. Our pedagogical staff are present in the neighbourhood every day and build trusting relationships with both children and parents. In short, Sam&minoes is a place where children can unwind after school, discover new things and have fun together in a safe and familiar environment.
