IKC Maria in Campis

Welcome to IKC Maria in Campis, a versatile child center located in the Noorderpark district of Assen. We provide education and childcare under one roof, with our after-school care (BSO) specifically designed for children aged 4 to 13 years. Our BSO takes place in the school building at Echtenstraat 1 and has a capacity of up to 22 children. Our BSO operates only during school hours and follows a vertical group structure. This means children of different ages play and learn together, where younger and older children can help each other. This has a positive effect on the social development of all children. As part of Stichting Primenius, we work closely with the primary school located on the same premises. This creates a continuous development line for children from 2 to 13 years. Our pedagogical staff are ready to provide children with a safe and familiar environment after school, where they can play, relax, and receive help with homework when needed. Our child center is open every weekday from 07:00 to 18:00. We believe that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. At IKC Maria in Campis, we find it important that children can be themselves and that parents and school work together on the child's development.
