Welcome to KDV de Prinsentuin, our warm daycare centre right in the heart of Hillegom. We provide care for up to 56 children aged 0 to 4 in a homely setting where every child feels safe and at home. Everything we do revolves around small-scale care and personal attention. Children are placed in age groups so that activities and guidance perfectly match their stage of development. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a smile, a listening ear and the expertise parents expect from us. We work from the core values of trust, connection, growth and fun. This means children are given the space to be themselves and to grow at their own pace. Playing, discovering and learning take place both indoors and outdoors; our spacious garden with play equipment and a sandbox invites movement and imaginative play. Creative activities such as crafts and singing are part of the daily routine, with the interests of the children at the centre. Care is naturally included: bottle feeding, healthy snacks and drinks are standard. For the very youngest we have separate sleeping rooms where rest and regularity are key. Half-day care is also possible, allowing parents to flexibly adapt to their work and private schedules. KDV de Prinsentuin has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 September 2022, so parents can apply for childcare allowance.
