Road2School at Van Swindenstraat 10A in The Hague is a small-scale daycare centre where children aged 0 to 4 receive all the attention they deserve. We deliberately keep our groups small so our qualified pedagogical staff can give every baby and toddler the personal guidance that matches their stage of development. Our goal is to let children develop pre-school skills, stimulate their social-emotional development and take the first steps towards independence. We see every child as unique, important and welcome – with or without a backpack. Everything we do revolves around a safe, familiar environment in which children learn through play. We offer age-appropriate activities, focusing on language development and creative expression. Think of crafts, reading aloud, singing and exploring with materials that connect to the world of young children. We work according to a clear pedagogical policy laid down in our pedagogical policy plan. This includes how we recognise when a child needs extra support and how we guide parents in this. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00. Parents receive a monthly invoice by e-mail and can use the Jaamo app to stay in touch with the group and keep up to date with their child's development. A tour is always free and without obligation. We have short waiting lists and work with an hourly rate system, so parents never pay too much.
