Rivers Preschool

Welcome to SKAR Rivers Preschool at Parnassusstraat 20 in Arnhem-Schuytgraaf. We provide bilingual pre-school care for children aged 2 to 4 years in partnership with Rivers International School Arnhem. Our spacious location features challenging outdoor play areas and high, bright indoor spaces that invite children to play and discover. Our pedagogical approach focuses on learning through play. We believe children develop valuable skills through guided play – skills that lay a lasting foundation for all future learning. By observing the children, we can offer activities that challenge them to develop optimally. We follow each child in our activity offerings and tailor these to their experiences and interests. In addition to our bilingual pre-school, we have a Dutch VVE toddler group "Butterflies" for children with a VVE indication. This group has an intensive language program to prepare children for Dutch primary education. We regularly organize joint outdoor play moments between the bilingual toddlers and the VVE group, which contributes to the social development of all children. Our location is open to both the international community and Dutch families. We provide care throughout the year, except during school holidays.
