Welcome to BSO Kraaiennest, our after-school care centre located at Slauerhoffstraat 4 in Spijkenisse. We provide out-of-school care for up to 138 children aged 4 to 12. Our guiding principle is the feeling of ‘home’: a safe, stimulating environment where every child feels seen and valued. Our pedagogical approach offers space for both group upbringing and individual development. Children are free to choose what they feel like doing each day—whether that is building a periscope, playing football outside, or joining a creative workshop. We work with mixed-age groups so children learn from one another and share adventures together. The outdoors is just as important as the indoors. Our spacious garden invites children to play, climb, slide and enjoy sports. We also organise regular excursions and collaborate with an activities team that visits to run exciting workshops such as vlogging, archery and silent disco. During school holidays we create a varied holiday programme full of fun and discovery. Warm meals, fresh fruit and drinks are included, allowing children to refuel straight after school. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day with patience, love and attention to bring out the best in every child. Together we create a place children love to come to and where parents can leave their children with complete peace of mind.
